Sorry to be missing the afterparty, but the sprint has left me a ruined husk of a man. Thanks again for the event, I had a ton of Burning fun!

My disappointment at missing the afterparty (and the last game slot) is quite overshadowed by my awe at the event as a whole. Very, very cool. BWHQ, you guys put on a hell of an event, and Burners, you made it transcendently amazing. I really, really hope we can do this again (and that I'll be able to make it)!

What everyone else said: It was mind-blowing. Thanks so much, BWHQ, and thank you burners! Those of you who crossed the freakin' ocean(s)... well, damn. That's dedication and it was great to meet you, and everyone! Jeremiah, Jahmal... you guys started my weekend off on the right foot, and then some. Truly awesome.

Yeah! Rock! Everyone was so great. Compared to work related conventions I've been to, this was like reuniting with old friends, even though I think I was essentially meeting everyone for the first time. Although I'm sure Luke and co are still recovering from what must have been an exhaustive amount of work and effort, I can't help but selfishly hope we can do something like this again soon. In the interim, I'm totally fired up, to get back to playing with my own regular group, and maybe run Hochen for some non gamer friends of mine.

Someone was shooting post-slot table pix; I think I gave Vincent rabbit-ears in ours. Also didn't you shoot us @ the worldburning sesh, Luke? Seems like a weird thing to post up but what the heck. ;-)

Yeah, a Flickr account with a shared username (Burning Con) and password (101010) would work well... until we hit 200 pics. For more than that, we'd have to go with a Pro account. Granted, that's only $30 or something and is good for 2 years. I'd chip in if someone wanted to do that.

I'll try to put up some pictures after 24 hours. I've spent the day with my mum today and I'm nearly back to my own place now. When I get there... splat, I'm sleeping.

Even though I had a camera with me, I mostly forgot I had it. I think I only managed to get a picture of the pumpkin.

However, once I'm home I'll snap a picture of the sketch Kurt Komoda did for me and post it to the group.

Unfortunately my camera batteries died 5 minutes in too. Fortunately they were rechargeable USB batteries.

Literally just got in from NY after staying on for a couple more days. I am shattered, and will post photos and more coherent comments when I'm a bit more aware of my surroundings.

However, a huge thanks for the weekend, and for some great games. I didn't get to meet half the people I wanted to, but it was fantastic to meet some familiar names on the forum and play some games with truly great people. The BE sprint was fantastic, but exhausting. Snow day rocked, and our game on Sunday morning was fantastic.

More when I can actually formulate a coherent sentence that doesn't require 15 re-writes.

Not sure about Flickr, I think it depends on the person's photo. But Flickr is a Yahoo site, so you may already have a login.
