View Full Version : W00T!!!
The new Character Burner rawks so much, I can't stay quiet about it. I'll be in physical pain until you guys have it in your hands and can bask in its coolness.
I've just created three characters for a Duel of Wits/Circles/Resources demo that I hope to run at Ubercon and I-Con (and I've got a few more characters yet to go), and each one of them is fucking awesome! I'd play any of them in a heartbeat.
So far, we have the Wizard of War, the Chaplain, and the Dwarven Coward/Adventurer. These guys are hardcore!

Explain this burner thing to me. What does it do? Is it like Redblade?

The Character Burner is one of the two books that make up the Burning Wheel roleplaying system. It's the book you use for creating characters. It contains all the lifepaths for the four character stocks (humans, dwarves, elves and orcs), Traits, spells, etc.

Well it looks like I have to buy this book then.

It's part of the set. You get both The Burning Wheel system book and Character Burner as part of the set.

Next time I must remember though, when people say I can't sneak up on someone with a ginormous longspear, I'll just remind them I'm an elf with a B5 and FORKs, and not try to rely on several untrained skills, though why doesn't the elf have any useful social skills?
