I will be kicking off a six episode campaign this Saturday with a pilot episode that will also run next week (same scenario). From the two pilots I will hope to gather six players to run on Saturdays through most weeks in August and September (save Labor Day when I will be at DragonCon!)

I will be running the pilot as scenarios at many conventions this year, namely DragonCon, Lallagazebo and DragonCon so you can catch it there too.

Here is the general description of the short campaign:

You are members of the mercenary company known as Black Banner's Wake. During the border wars some three years ago you have made a name for yourselves. Now in times of uneasy peace you may be called upon to settle disputes, hold a pass until merchants cross or shake down a smuggling ring. Known for you resourcefulness, discretion and the bite of your blades, the Black Banner is a dire omen to those on the wrong side of good coin. Follow their most recent adventure, the company risking all for a king's ransom.

The game will run from noon to 4pm on Saturday and be repeated next saturday at Between Books, on Pennylvania Pike in Claymont Delaware. The number there is 302.798.3378

All are welcome. Several of our number will be there including Yagathai and the one and only - Luke!

Shall I throw together a pre-gen for you? You know, just to make things easier on you. ;)

Went to the pilot/demo/thingie. It went well. Had lots of fun, really enjoyed meeting the NY crew, got to stab something lots of times with me knife. Wasn't more than 4 minutes late to work, either.

Thumbs up!

Yep i had a great time. And two thumbs up for choosing the loacation (veery nice game/book store) - that surrounding was intense, and of course cannot resist myself from picking up couple of books :P Eruditus done a great job designing adventure in his own game world - good thing. And of course after game geek talk was a great too. I'm Yagathai glad that you've almost made to the work on time - sorry for our lame shopping speed, but we're games agter all :)

I played in this as well. I found the setting to be the strongest element of the game. I have been a long supporter of not solely relying on European folklore for influence in world creation. I enjoyed being a dark-skinned woman for a day. It was a great set-up and the selection of characters worked well.

I can't wait to hear more about this setting as it develops.

It's a great store, I agree. I miss spacious stores with killer selection. I would have bought more, but I have a wedding in a month. :D

I hadn't had Arby's curly fries for years. That topped of the fun day in Phil/Del.
