Last year at Boskone he got a hat made that said simply "Don't Even Ask."

This year he didn't, but he's still not done.

He is, however, one of the coolest authors on the face of the planet. I party with him two or three times a year. He invited my (now-ex-)girlfriend to his house for his girlfriend's birthday party. We went with him to a hobby shop and he and I got to banter about 17th century calvary tactics.
