Let's talk PBEM or PBP

So I wonder if anyone has given any thought to playing in / running a Play by E-Mail or Play by Post BW game. I used to be really into PBEM games, but for a variety of reasons I stopped. Now, however, I feel inspired once more.

Your thoughts?

Me too but I am too busy to run it. Any volunteers? I am dying to try out the BW programs we have been working on (little hint about the chat client BW scriptor and character database :) )

Yes and no. It's running, but not well or reliably. More limping than running, really.

As with most everyone else on this thread, I'ld like to play, but really couldn't run a pbem. But having tried BW at a con, had a good time going over the books and posts, I'ld really like to get a chance to play it.

I'd rather have a PbP since I have alot more experince with those. I don't know, I just don't like PbEM.

Play-by-email and play-by-post aren't much different. Although I prefer play-by-post too.

One idea I had for BW Online play is "you must ALWAYS have 3 volleys scripted." Rather than scripting in groups of 3, whenever you finish one volley, the player must immediately script another one to replace it and put it at the end of the line. It works in play-by-post play, and I think makes stuff a bit more "organic".

I would, at the very least, want to try that idea out.

If you want to try a short PBeM look at the Raid on Townell post.
This should be a short quest that opens into more. This would give you the chance to try a PBEM in a short game format.
