Maybe I'm the only one and I'll shut up if I am, but in my opinion, this forum could use a chat box. It's easier then PMing and if you need to, well, chat, it seems like it would help. Just a suggestion...

Man, chatboxes are pains in the ass to implement. May I suggest sharing IM information ;)

The not cool kids in Operations still use IRC, but mostly that's because we're lazy and don't want to walk down the hall to ask people about stuff. That said, no official BW IRC channel exists as far as I know.

Nothing official, but anyone can feel free to jump on whatever network has a chanserver and make one.

IRC is still alive and kicking, particularly in online PC gaming circles. SynIRC is the current hotness as far as I'm aware.
