I understood that I can only vote on the peoples choice award, but when and where will that happen?
Its just that I noticed abzu signature and I dont watn to get a 0b 10 steel test (which I dont know what it means because I dont have the BW yet, when are they gonna ship?)
Well, the preorders just arrived (http://www.burningwheel.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=9973#9973) at BWHQ. So I would expect they'll start shipping to the rest of you in the next week or two. They still have to get stamped, numbered, and signed, and they have to be banded together.
But you should note that it is the Monster Burner and not Burning Wheel Revised that is up for an award.

Hey all- This is Andy, the Indie RPG Awards guy:
1) Yeah, as the Mad Viking noted, only Monster Burner is up for an award this year (as supplement). Fortunately, I won't be in charge of the Indie RPG Awards next year (for the games of 2005), as it would be hard to march on with the farce of an even competition, when we all know that Burning Wheel Revised will just end up scoring every damn award there is.
2) Public Voting will get explained better on the site in May, and will be live all throughout June and July.
3) Basically, I will be receiving Letters and Postcards, from anywhere in the world, from May to July. You can only submit one letter/postcard. Each letter/postcard I receive grants one vote to the game or supplement that you voted for. Highest total wins!
Normally, I'm against such base Popularity Contest style stuff (That's what the Origins Awards are for), but Justin Dagna (the dude with the idea for the People's Choice Award) came up with the idea and the reasoning, and I'm totally in agreement with it: Basically, that reasoning is "Hey, why the fuck not?" All the other awards are voted on by a selection of peer reviewers, so might as well open up a fun award for audience participation.
Plus, I like mail.
