Something like

2 : White burning wheel (success for white skill)
1 : Nothing (failure)

or three type of dice
black dice
6 : Gold burning wheel (for open ended test)
4-5 : red burning wheel (success )
3-2 : Nothing (failure)
1 : broken armour

grey dice
6 : Gold burning wheel (for open ended test)
3-5 : red burning wheel (success )
2 : Nothing (failure)
1 : broken armour

white dice
6 : Gold burning wheel (for open ended test)
2-5 : red burning wheel (success )
1 : broken armour

Luke said at 10 10 10 that there were and they were awful.

A few people have had their own dice made. And usually once or twice a year the conversation pops up with lots of interest and hopes of getting enough people interested so a reasonably large order can be made (to keep costs down). The last thread had this from Luke:

I would refrain from ordering custom BW dice for the moment.

Then a followup a little later:

Unfortunately, we're not going to have anything new for 10/10/10. No time. No money.

Speaking of once a year threads, anyone interested?

The method that I have used is to just buy color appropriate dice. So I have a batch of black, grey, and white, with some other colored ones to represent helping dice from other people or forks.

After a short internet search on custom dice,

an interesting article :

The solution 3 seems nice, quick and not too expensive (15$ for 25 dice).

put me down for 20. My group will want some as well, through probably not so many.

edit, I have just looked at the post you linked to. Let me be clear, I am not interested in dice with stickers.

I am talking about dice that have been laser etched and inked. If we get a gang of us, they will be inexpensive, last a long time and look great. I spend enough time and get enough enjoyment out of gaming that I am happy to stump up some cash and not whinge about spending a similar amount of money I would spend on coffee over the course of a month.

Let's not be "penny wise and pound foolish".

The toner transfer mode really does look interesting....

I'd be interested in 10 each for black, grey, and white.

My friend and I are going to do this method. But we're going to need some burning wheel graphics to do it right. Luke or anybody have access to high res BW graphics we could use? Ideally we'd want to photoshop them to add a contrasting color outline on transparent labels and apply them to the dice.
