I noticed over the past few days that I would check the forum periodically and there would be new messages but the little grey gems weren't turning red. I would just hunt down new posts manually untill I was satisfied that I'd read them all. Then I figured it out this morning. The boards didn't update for day light savings time and hence my profile time was 1 hour off from my computer's system time, hence when I would check to see if there were a new post all the posts would be "old" to me even though I hadn't read them. I changed my profile time to GMT-8 and now they are working fine. YAY!

yeah, each user has got to set his GMT manually in this software. Kind of sucks, but there's nothing I can do about it.

Yah I can live with that, I just thought of that workaround and thought if other people had the same problem that they'd like to know there's a solution.
