Because it's likely to still be a week before I have Burning Wheel in my hot little hands, I thought I'd ask here; is there a mass combat rule system? The setting I'm beginning to formulate has two or more of the major kindgoms on the edge of war and if it ends up going that way, I'd like to know if there are rules to back it up.

Yes? Non?

Hei Dro,

you had a draft, and you let me post three times about mass combat.

Dude, you are now officially on the "NYC to do" list.

Just after Luke.

I did that just because i love you. Anyway I consider all rules that are not in print as "draft" ones. File that I was talking about is an old "Simple Melee Machanics", that Luke took off-line. You should have them, if You don't let me know.

The Simple Melee/Gang Wars has been incorporated into the revision. It was an asstastic mass combat system anyway.

I would suggest taking a look at the Flower of Combat for the Riddle of Steel game and Legend of the Five Rings for inspiration concerning individual PC's involved in mass combat.
