I think I may have been under the mistaken impression on when a Lead is taken. I have always believed that it was when the next LP chosen was from a new setting, like when the assassin-sorcerer goes from the Kid LP to the Neophyte Sorcerer LP, but in the example on page 16, the lead was taken for the Kid LP and not for the Neophyte Sorcerer LP.

Am I reading this wrong?

Hi Tony,

I'm not sure I understand the disconnect. The Kid is a Village Setting lifepath. It offers the leads "Any except Noble and Court." That gives the character the opportunity to move to the City Dweller setting and get Neophyte Sorcerer.

So he marks a lead next to Kid because that's where he left the Village setting.

Okay, I understand now. You mark the LP that you are leaving when you move to a new setting for taking the lead, not the new LP that you are sellecting. Nevermind, I just need to read a little closer and look at the entire example. :oops:
