Where's a good place to get campaign ideas? I mean, I can think of some stuff, but it's not as good as the scenarios Luke made.

The best place to get campaign ideas is to sit around a table with your players and come up with them yourselves. Campaign ideas can germinate from character concepts, cool locations, and even just monsters your players want to hack. It'll save you a lot of time plus it will give every player a stake and interest in the campaign.
As a GM, go to the table like I do with either a theme you wanna explore (greed, grief, honor), basic goals (find an artifact, kill the traitor, rescue the princess), or genres (samurai, witch-hunters, politics). From these, you go back and forth with the players, generating plot seeds and characters.
As a GM, I highly recommend this approach! It's worked three times now for me and each has been a blast! Definitely some of the best gaming I've had in a long while.

I have never actually run campaigns (only short scenarios with some friends from time to time) but I get ideas all the time from literature i read.
Personally, Greek history and myths seem to inspire me the most.
Next time you read a good book or so, maybe just ask yourself, how can you put that into a game.

i read lots of boring old history books. As my eyes are bleeding, I then quickly watch early 90s Kung fu movies and read some inspiring fiction -- like Dune!

Mike, definitely pay attention to Kublai's advice. Also, just to double underline it, when you set a goal, also set a timeframe.
Goal:
We will avenge our Daimyo, whom we failed when he needed us most.
Timeframe:
6 sessions.
Just because you set it doesn't mean you have to stick to it, but I find that it really helps to create focus. Around session 3 or session 4, if you haven't been making much headway, you can say, "hey guys, we've only got two or three sessions left. We better start making some serious progress here!"
It really kicks things into gear.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I'll take Kublai's advice for getting a general jist of what I want to do and then take everyone elses advice for soldiifying those ideas.
