This weekend, I'll be converting my players' characters to the new Revised edition and I thought it would be good to print out some character sheets that include all the new goodies, Resources, Circles, etc.

Looking on the download section of this website, I noticed that under the Beliefs and Instincts area of the character sheet there are three spaces with a bubble beside an F, a P and a D. Just curious what these letters mean. I'm sure it's something amazingly obvious but I'm just not getting it.

Thanks.

Christopher

You mark of when someone uses Artha in relation to a belief or instinct and then it becomes eligible to evolve into a trait. At least that's how I gathered it works.

Oh ok, as if you spent a Fate, a Persona or a Deed artha in conjunction with applying that particular belief or instinct? This would translate eventually into you acquiring a trait for that belief or instinct?

Interesting.

If you use Fate with it, it can become a character trait, Persona makes it eligable for a Die trait 3pts and lower, and Deeds can make it a die trait of 4 or higher.

Thanks so much. I just found the description on page 71 of the revised Burning Wheel. Very helpful stuff!
