I'm looking for 3 players for a PbP/PbEM game of Burning Wheel. I have a couple of ideas for a game that I am interested in, but nothing is set in stone. Let me know if you would be interested in playing a character in something like this"
1) Homeland - Your race (stock) is returning to its long lost motherland after millenia as outcasts. Ages ago your hated enemies the orcs nearly annihilated your race, and the survivors fled across a vast ocean. Now your people have recovered and the king has decided it is time to reclaim what was once yours.
The game would focus on exploration, discovering lost secrets, new races, intrigue within your race and possibly others, and probably a decent amount of combat. I could tailor to the player's tastes. I originally DMed a Dnd campaign based on this theme with the lost race being the elves, but I'm not necessarily married to that idea. I think dwarves or humans could work just fine.
2) The Witcher(s) - The game would be loosely based on the books/videogame(s) of the same name. You (and your group) would be professional monster hunters, or at least one of you would be. The others could potentially be supporting cast (with everyone having their own spotlight). Plenty of intrigue as you get to know villages and cities. Plenty of monsters to chop up. I'd probably leave out the sex though. I'll leave that to your own imagination :)
Just a couple of ideas. I'm open to others as well.
