School started this week and it turns out one of my courses is in a "smart room". There are six large tables for the students and each has a white board on the wall with a projector pointed at it, which a plug for your laptop. Of course, I decided this would be awesome for gaming. But I'm not sure how I would use such a set up in a BW/MG/BE game.
It might be cool for Firefight, but I've only played BE once. Maybe for keeping track of distances in Fight!, but I'm not sure what advantage this would have over just a white board. The projector part is cool, but I'm not sure how useful it would be.
Other ideas?

Awesome for gaming but don't figure how? Then it's not that awesome after all.
Technology is to provide you with solutions and make things easier, is not for you will invent a technology use.

It would be totally awesome for Firefight, you project a satellite photo and draw the actual map on the whiteboard.
For everything else... Eh. I can think of uses, but they're all kinda weird oddities. But if you have the projector anyway, use the whiteboard and you can always turn it on when you think of something.

Advancement tables. Project the advancement tables onto the wall. Or maybe the GM screen data that Dean was doing.

A Smart board allows you to activate programs via whiteboard, so a scripting program might work. I believe you can roll dice. Handling Scripting and distances, too.

We were actually discussing how awesome it would be to have a normal white board with everyone's BITS on them staring at us. Compromises and notes too. NPC names. You could take a photo of it at the end of each session. It would also make people get up and move around, which is awesome.
Then we mentioned how we could do that with a big sheet of paper on the table if we couldn't get a whiteboard. Then we could have campaign specific doodles too, and cut out the best bits.
A smart board would work too.

Very first thing I thought of.
Also, you could use it to unveil Fight/DoW scripting.

All good comments, but this is by far my favorite:

If I ever set this I'll post pictures!

If you play in a published setting there's likely to be maps galore, too. We play in a loose adaptation of Mystara, which is just lousy with maps online.
