Foraging tools

It says that foraging requires tools. Does that mean that the character has to buy a toolkit? The rules would imply so, but I was wondering what would be in the toolkit? I thought someone would just go around gathring berries and whatnot.

She don't have to buy a toolkit, but she must have tools if she want optimal working conditions when using the skill.
Ofcourse, some skills are imposible to use without the exact specific tools, like smithery, for example.

Well, I know it's something like double obstacle penalty for working without tools, but I was just wondering what kind of tools a forager would need.

Something to hunt with, or picking high fruits, or... I don't know...

A sharp stick for grubbing up roots sounds pretty important. One thing I'd probably let players do is forage for the tools to forage with...

i think that's an oversight. I can't think of foraging tools that would require specific craft to create.
