I was wondering why it costs a deeds point to add Grief or Hatred to a roll, but only a persona point to add Greed. Is it because the dice for Grief and Hatred are open ended? Or, and am I correct in saying this, because Greed can only be added when being greedy and the otheres can be added at anytime.

Yeah, Greed has more specific applications.

And, honestly, I wanted Greed applied more often.

And, I wanted Grief applied LESS often.

And, I Orcs need to be kept in check. I didn't want to encourage idiotic berserker orcs. This ain't warcraft.

Also, maybe I missed it, but an Elf wanders off somewhere when grief hits 10 and an orc kills himself when hatred hits 10, what does a dwarf do with a b10 greed?

Just out of curiousity, is that mentioned somewhere in the rules? I figured something like that, but looked everywhere for it.

Heh, I was under the (mis)impression that Greed was insatiable, that is, it just keeps going up.
