So I'm making a race and it would really fit if they could see in the dark. SHould I give them Lnyx eyed or sight of the bat? Or is there another trait in the Monster Burner that I missed? Or should I give them something like Darkvision and say it costs a certain amount of points? I noticed sight of the bat costs 6 in the Character Burner, should I use that cost?

If the thingies need to see in complete darkness, then give them the orc trait. This means they will get the daylight penalty as well. However, if they can see in near-dark environments but not complete blackness, then give them the dwarf trait.

If you're making the monster from scratch, what difference does the trait cost matter?

On page 62 of the monster burner, it says, for peer review, to say the amoiunt of, amoing other things, trait points. I'm not sure if I'll bring it to the players or post it for peer review, but I just wanted to cover myself.

Ah... ::scratches head::

Yeah, I don't really do that much! :oops:

Don't listen to Kublai! :twisted:

You want the Night-Eyed Trait: page. 347 of the Monster Burner.

Feel free to change the name to make it more evocative of your new stock.
