Maybe I overlooked the answer, but in the description of skills, when it's got two things listed as the root (say, Agility/Perception) do you use the average of the two or the better of the two (worse of the two?) Stats?

Thanks!

You average the two, rounding down. (Certain traits might allow you to round up on certain combinations, but in general, you will be rounding down)

half the average.

I just burned my first sample character: Agility G4, Perception B4

What is his Hunting root?
- B2 = half, just ignore the G as he hasn't got the G in both
- B2 = Ag4+2+Per4=10/2=5/2=2,5
- B3 = Ag4+Per4=8/2=4+2=6/2=3

B2 ((Ag4+2)+(Per4))/4=10/4=2,5 rounds down to 2

:?
((Ag4+2)+(Per4))/2=5
5/2=2.5
2.5 rounds down to 2 :wink:

So if one of the two stats is gray, I DO add 2 to the exponent for the purpose of averaging? Just like with Reflexes and Health?

That's what it looks like you're doing with your math here. Yes no?

Si.

Gray = +2
