Concept: Unlikely midshipman with serious problems
Character Name: Percival Wyddbotham
Nature Abhors a Vacuum: A favourite NPC from the same 7th Sea game as Igor Lugoshi. Wyddbotham was a midshipman that Mr. Lugoshi took a "special shine" to. Consequently, by the time the game wrapped up the character was thoroughly mad, but also a brilliant painter, his world's equivalent of Bosch. He ended up starting a cult built around Mr. Lugoshi.
