A Modified BW Character PDF Request.

I was going to mention this to Luke durring the Release party but it totaly slipped my mind. Here's the idea though.

You can now create PDF files that allow you to 'fill in the blanks' so that when you do print them, they come out really nice and clean looking with all the character information you put in. Now the down side is that normaly you can't save these files unless you pay for the full registered version of Acrobat Reader but, for those of us who rather have nice printed little characters sheets instead of scribbly hand written ones, it's a nice bonus.

I know their already is a basic PDF BW Character sheet, I was wondering how hard it would be to make it an editable one.

If you need an example of such a PDF, go get the latest 1040A tax form from the irs website. Works pretty well.

Yes there is the Excel Spreadsheet, but I like the old school BW Character sheet. Much nicer on the eyes. Hey, it's just an idea.

That's true, but you need the full version of Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Pro (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/main.html), and plan on it being easy. :wink:

The Excel spreadsheet is really more for character burning than an actual character sheet. It does the job in a pinch though. We have created several editable PDFs but they're a little wonky -- and also huge. I'm sure we'll get one on the site sooner or later though.

Still, it can be a bit of a pain. Afterall, there is very little on the sheet that is not subject to change over time. As a matter of fact, I think the ONLY thing on the sheet that isn't subject to change is the part where you list the lifepaths with which you burned the character.

Wow, that's really great to see. I'm going to have to learn how to make PDF forms for my wife's work later this summer. I'll just ask you guys how to do it. :roll:
