Concept: Rebellious Noble Turned Revolutionary Wizard

Character Name: Elizabeth "Devca" Manning

Devca is a character for my upcoming BW game. Her player really impressed me with how into the character she got as we burned her up. The character is for a game wherein the King has recently died and his kingdom usurped by the local nobility. The aristocracy has replaced the reign of the benevolent king with a totalitarian, controlling regime. Fighting the regime (and crucial to Devca's concept) is a group of unlicensed wizards called the Order of Il-Amun. Basically, the key concept of the campaign is class struggle. Anyway, that's a totally different thread. Here's the character.

(GM's Note: Marlow was her former master, killed by her hand.)

up to Devca for Guidance. Always in the way.

Traits:
Mark of Privilege
Extremely Respectful of Her (Sorcerous) Betters

Spooky
Healthy

Beliefs:
- The nobility is inherently untrustworthy.
- Elven rule would be better than this. (GM's note: in the campaign, the elves assisted the former king's bloodline in building their kingdom, and now there's talk that the Etharch's want to take back what's theirs, now that the aristocrats have taken over. There's whispers of a war coming.)
- I have to protect Charlotte so that we can both survive.

Instincts:
- When I spot a noble, be inconspicuous.
- If a seduction fails cast persuasion.
- When a fight breaks out, assess for magic-users. (GM's note: The Gifted trait has some outward signs to it, odd eye colour, hair colour, strange features, etc. in this game)

I like how Poisons and Knots are only B2, it will be interesting when they fail.

Well, it'll only take a couple of tests for them to start improving. I guess that's why you have the remarkable backup power of ...

SHARDS!
