I'm working on my character for the PbP game and was wondering about the Tonsured and Vested traits that he's required to have. Do they combine into a 2D affiliation with the church or should the be kept separate and I come up with two individual 1D affiliations that are different but related to the religion?
Also, does having these traits indicate that they are currently represented in the characters present life. My concept is a priest who isn't directly associated with the church any longer due to a falling out of sorts. He still has these traits though and they supposedly provide him with the affiliations. Does that mean he still has a shaved head or that he was initiated in the past? Does he only get his 1D affiliation for vested while actually in his finery or is representative of his having achieved the vested station?
And how would I roleplay this all out since my concept has him being somewhat of an outcast, though a civil one, from the church? Maintain the affiliation but represent the falling out through a reputation maybe?
