Leaving For Gen Con A Bad Thing?

Well, I never thought I'd be a little irritated about leaving for Gen Con tomorrow. As much as I'm looking forward to it, I'm not going to have any internet until at least WEDNESDAY, which means I'll likley miss out on the anouncement of the big pre-Gen Con surprise. I may have to actually wait a day or so longer to find out what it is.! :evil: <insert shot of clenched fists>

Oh, Luke, I'll try to stop by either Wed night or Tursday morning to see if we can arrange a time for the interview. I know you said breakfast would probably be best, but I know you'll be swamped, so whatever's best for you.

You can get internet at pretty much every airport there is. We will be there wdnesday afternoon (around 4PM - stamping and numbering Monster Burners).

there's going to be a bunch of free wireless hotspots in downtown indie, too. so if you have your laptop, you'll be ok.

i'm getting in around 4 on wednesday. got to run to the exhibitor's hall and get things set up. dro, thor and I will be kicking around after that. just look for three guys in death metal t-shirts with spiked bracelets and gun belts.

No prob there...I'm showing up that evening to check in at the press room.

My wife needs the laptop for business so I won't have it with me--and my pal George and I are taking a road trip from Dover (where I fly in) to Indy. If it comes down to it, we'll just have to find a net cafe along the way.

BTW, I'll be wearing my ever-present old-school Houston Astros cap and a press badge.

The death metal T-shirts are a given. It was the spiked bracelets that really gave me pause. Also the gunbelts. Everybody knows I only wear bandoliers of machine gun ammo.
