Forgive me if this has already been addressed.

Inevitably, a player in an extended campaign will switch lifepaths via roleplaying or sheer happenstance. Yet I can't find any reference in the books dealing with how to handle this? Can anybody help me?

Thanks.

Because lifepaths are used only for character generation, after your character begun adventuring his fate and developement lies in his player hands, so it all depends how you play your character.

Yeah, Lifepaths are chargen only. After that, you may consider it one huge Lifepath called "PC."

dro's right, after lifepaths take the character to the point where {i]you[/i] take over. After that, anything goes because you are playing out the character's experiences moment by moment.

Check into the Advancement, Beginner's Luck and Earning Traits rules. Via these rules you can get all the new skills, high skills and new traits that you need -- it just depends on how you play your character.
