Ok. I am brand new to the system and I am running a game set in the 2nd Age of Middle Earth. One of the character is a Sindar Elf. His character is a seafarer. So this is my first attempt at a lifepath and it needs some serious help :). I am unsure of the exits, order of skills, and if it maintains the BW feel. So here it is. Please comment, correct etc. When this is done I will post a PDF version of this. Thanks.

Hey ghashnaga,

Out of curiosity, what don't you like about the elven lifepaths in the book?

If I were going to make this character, I'd go in one of several directions:

Born Citadel, Seafarer, Novice, Shaper, Keelmaster, Sea Captain. Six lifepaths is really powerful for an elf, especially when it gets you up to 315 years. You could throw Soldier-Protector in there if you want the marine skills.

Or

Born Wilder Elf, Fisherman (Lead to Citadel), Seafarer, Soldier-Protector, Sea Captain. Here we have a slightly more down-to-earth five lifepath character that's sacrificed the Shipwright type stuff, but still comes out to 230 years, which is buff!

There are other ways to do it too.

Doh. Of course I hadn't looked at that. hahaah. I handed the CB to my player and asked him to figure it out. I like your idea better. Thanks for the advice.

And of course one can always add a LP to work with the setting if required. But it sounds like they took care of you!
