what games have you played, man? you looking to join or run a game? i've been playing a martial arts homebrew for 6 years. i'm looking for some old school fantasy. i have a few people with interest. we sort of want to do an afternoon game, as we all have pretty odd schedules. you work? or school? what's your story. i live in the lower east side and we'll probably be playing here. how tough is it for you to get here?

I'm looking to join a game. I actually haven't played a non PbP game since I was like 12, but I like fantasy, horror, and martial arts games. Afternoon's kinda tough, but I do get home from work at about 3PM. LES isn't much of a problem, but I'll have to take some trains and the PATH probably; I don't drive in the city :oops:

don't know if we can swing a weekend game. looks like friday or thursday night's gonna be the day.

anyone else looking to play a burningwheel campaign at my apt. in the lower east side. hopefully we'll be playing friday afternoon, but if enough heads are innerested in another night, we can swing it.

it's a new game, with pretty much completely new initiaties to the system, so everyone should be on an equal (read uninformed) footing, including the GM (just finished reading the books, have a pretty strong - if muddled - idea of how to run a game. either way, it should be fun. probably gonna burn characters friday the 10th of february. or maybe thursday the night before. reply if you're innerested in joining/watching/burning.

i have a similar post over on nerdnyc. for some reason i've only got two peeps interested. i feel like everyone else is either already in a game, or has no time for something new.

btw, cool game man. i'm glad someone pulled off the fantasy game we've all been looking for. i think the rules are tight, and they are all there. i'm just not sure about the handling time and the learning curve. i feel like i'm gonna be looking everything up every step of the way. for some reason, i don't mind, though, and that's a good thing. just hope i can find players who don't mind either.

quixotles, i've PM'd you on both this and the nerdnyc forums. maybe you didn't get the notice. anyway, if you still want to play burning wheel with us, we just started a game. friday afternoons. 11am. so far we play at my place, downtown, LES (block away from the f/v, six blocks from the D or the 6.
