One thing that I've always loved about the BW lifepaths is that they imply a much larger setting Without any complicated flavour text, they quickly and efficently sketch out a hierarchy and lifestyle. With the whole Undead set, I hope to do something similar. Below are the unlifepaths for the undead setting that I call "The Temple". Commentary is very much appreciated.

Hey

Making my own lifepaths I noticed that this one had gone by sort of unnoticed, so I'll try to come up with a little constructive criticism.

One thing I notice is that there isn't any time on the LP's... I assume they're going to be fairly long, though I guess it depends on their age table.

Resources are very low, all around. This makes sense, considering the setting, but is going to be seriously un-fun for anyone taking sorcery. For that reason, I'd knock resources on the lich up a notch.

Also, BIG attribute bonuses all around. Is there a specific reason for this? I'm guessing it's because undeads don't get more stats based on age, which would make sense.

A lot of special traits/skills, would it be possible to get a look at those?

When I'm done, all these and more will be going up on the Lifepath Wiki. But, to reply:

I don't actually want time on the LPs. I want Undead to be, essentially, timeless -- so you can have a relatively low-power 2LP Undead that's been sitting in a tomb for generations upon generations, or an upstart Lich Lord who's only been around for a decade or so. The age of the characters will be entirely dependent upon GM and player.

I'll have to think about that resources thing. Thanks!

Yes, the Undead will not gain attributes on their age. Also, their starting stats are quite low -- half whatever the character had in life.

I'll release the skills/traits when I'm totally finished with the LPs.

Thank you very kindly for the feedback!

You're quite welcome.

The resource point also applies to Pontiff, though he has a fair amount of resources, as summoning also costs resource points.

Very minor point, but the LP's also very finished... I am looking forward to seeing the whole package, this looks interesting.

Btw: Nundead - bad pun that conjures unhappy mental images. Probably your intent -.-
