Those additional rules aren’t just for further complication of the existing ones, they are more like guidelines which should help GM’s understand some of the less described game mechanics.
So after one of the demo games (during which I was of course killed), some time earlier one of opposing players lost consciousness from inflicted wounds (lost more dices than he had lowest stat exponent - which happened to be speed), and that brings me to my point: it doesn’t sound right just to say that character (or NPC) just fallen unconscious. After rethinking that I came up with various interpretations of situation when ones stat is reduced to zero (or lower).
Stat can be brought to zero mostly from inflicted wounds, or lose of fortitude (either from damage or spell tax)
Here we go:
Perception - lose of this stat means that character cannot “feel” his surroundings, he’s completely lost, can’t locate anyone, can’t hear, and see.
Proposed descriptions: vision blurs, (blood and sweat slipping into eyes, stars began to flicker before eyes, temporary deafness/thumping sound inside head from head wounds, character walks around like a suddenly blinded person (trying ground before him, calling friends)
Will - description for those stats imho should be somewhat similar to not passing a steel test. Something inside you breaks, you do not want to carry on longer, interest in surrounding is totally lost, you do not care about anything, you just stand there and seems completely lost, falls/sit down and start crying/shouting/lamenting.
Agility - character loses ability to interact with surroundings. All possessions held in hands are released, character will slip from roofs, release grip to anything he holds, no physical skill that are conducted during lose of agility will be completed
Speed - muscles and all motoric apparatus suddenly shuts down, and character cannot move normally just lye down motionless or very slowly crawl
Proposed descriptions: cramps of muscles from inflicted wounds, broken or moved bones does not allow to move limbs, strained or cut muscles will not carry character weight, can
Power - suddenly all possessions overburden character, he cannot move (falls to ground)
Forte - Rulebook descriptions apply perfectly for this: Character falls unconscious (in this case from exhausting) remember that forte can be lowered also by not passed tax test after casting spells/electric shocks, plain tiredness ect..
I want some feedback!!!! Just tell me what you thing bout it, what should be added, what should be kicked out?
