Blocking more than one opponent

Just a quicky that may come from me just not reading the rules well enough.

I rule that having scripted the action block allows the character to block one opponents attack. Is this correct or does block work against all opponents (my groups knight where constantly fighting two or three opponents to protect the mage and ranger so this problem frequently popped up)?

You have it right. Block works against one opponent. Avoid works against them all. Some GMs allow players to split their Block dice, just as they allow players to split Strike dice. This would be your call, however.
