GM characters can't earn Artha through Instincts, Traits, and Right Skill, Right Time, correct?

Thanks.No, NPC's earn artha the same way as player characters.

Isn't that the opposite to what Nick said?

I have looked at the section and the awards are there are nearly all stated as being granted to player and/or GM. As such, the use of these terms seems significant and so I guess that Nick is right.

So the only player (not GM) specific awards are MVP and Workhorse.
