Demos in Central Indiana

I've talked with the owner of Boardroom Games (http://www.boardroomgames.com/) here in Indianapolis, Indiana, and I will be running The Sword for anyone interested in trying out the Burning Wheel system starting at 1:30 pm on Saturday, October 14th. Whether you're new to the system or a veteran of several campaigns, and you're in the area, stop by for some fun. I'll also bring a few pre-generated monsters to try out the combat system if a Fight! doesn't brake-out often enough in the demos (at this point I'm planning on running The Sword as is without a guardian).

I have not played BW but have picked up the books for a read. Most likely I will not be able to make it but I will try. Even if I do most likely I will have a 2 year old with me so I'sll end up circling the game but not actually get involved.

I know how family obligations can slow down a person's gaming; I have three kids ages 3, 5, and 7 and a wife who doesn't share my enthusiasm for rpgs. If you want, pm me and maybe we can get together on an alternate day somewhere else and run some one-on-ones.

I have to post-pone this demo. Some important family plans beyond my control just shifted back by a week, and I'm going to have to reschedule. I'll post the new date and time after I get a hold of Gerry at Boardroom Games.
