my copy of BW is 190 of 1000, which means there are around 100- 200 burners out there, but only 23 of them are registered users of this forum...
i call to every registered user who knows other burners to help populate this place
i call to unregistered guests to come forward and join
remember, great ideas come from good debates, and debates require people
without more members, the devlopment of the system grinds slowly
just my two cents

There was time before the Great Crash... a time of many registers users and many new posts each day... now the site is ashen and grey... but, as you can see, new sprouts are popping up... time will heal our forums!

I can assure you that this will continue :)
I have brought no less than 10 new folks into the fold in the past two weeks and 12 more in the next month. I am fairly certain that will mean more posts, clarification, interest in development and the like. :)
Also, with the moderators permission i would like to post my entire campaign notes on this site once they get organized.
There will be things on the site that my players will need to know and they will be directed here.
More on that later though :)

Hey, do they have those? trophies?
Maybe we could have Burning Wheel award dinners?
How geeky would that be - "oh, and this is the trophies I got over the years for spending way too much time introducing people to a game I really liked."
No, getting folks to play a game I like and being genuinely excited about it is reward enough for me
Not to kiss ass BUT I have to say the everytime i run a scripted combat the cooler the concept becomes. Not only have i dug the concept but combats are fast and deadly. It really comes down to "How much do i really want this? Is it worth dying for?
And yeah, once I get a bug about something I have a tendancy to overdo it :? Just hope I can maintain the energy
and boy do i dig emoticons

Of course! Open a thread in the Campaign Forum, like I did for Verakai.
Or do you want a private page?

Both moderators (there are only two) want very much for you to post your campaign notes to the forum. I recommend you start a thread in Campaigns and Games when you are ready. We all eagerly await news of your exploits!

10 new people?
WOW!!
The important part of that, of course is all are buying books :)
of course I want sales, but I'll tell ya it's more important to me just to get the word out there. and WAY more important to have people playing. There are soooo many "dead" copies out there. Just sitting on people's game shelves. ::sigh::
either way, though, this is great! thanks, man!
