Greetings,

I've just received my BW books in the mail (Thanks, Luke!) and am trying to recruit 3 - 4 players interested in meeting every second Saturday night from 6 PM to 11 or 12. The game would take place in Holiday (a little town between Tarpon Springs and New Port Richey). Specific details will be hammered out as things progress.

There are plenty of D&D players around here, but I've discovered that D20 just doesn't float my boat. I'm seeking players who want a balance between a good story and a good setting, with occasional bits of action (as appropriate). Players should also have an open mind and be willing to put in a reasonable amount of effort towards the game.

I'm also open to trying other non-D20 games, either as a player or GM. My gaming time is limited by Real Life - I simply want the time that I do spend roleplaying to be worth it.

Thanks,
Alan

Well, we're off and running! The newly revitalized Society of Creative Distraction has started a BW campaign here in Tampa Bay. We're looking for one or two more players to round out the group, so if you're interested, contact me at alanhaley01 (at) yahoo.com.

We meet once every second Saturday from 6 PM to 11 PM or midnight (depending on how things are going). Games alternate between Holiday and Temple Terrace. Carpooling is available.

The next scheduled game is at 6 PM on Saturday, May 15th in Temple Terrace.

Later,
Alan

Hi Alan,

I'm very excited to hear you got a game going. Please come on back and post in the Games forum and let us know how it went.

Still looking for players. There are three of us now (and possibly a fourth) trying out Burning Wheel. We all seem to like it, so for the foreseeable future we'll be scripting, beating those dreaded Obs and spending Artha by the bucketful.

Interested? Email me at alanhaley01 at yahoo.com.

Thanks,
Al
