View Full Version : Recruitment: Range and Cover duel?

In the four games I've ran and the one I played in, I've never had a chance to try out the R&C rules. Any one up for a chase?

I'm thinking either a Wolf chasing someone through a forest or two people hunting each other across the roofs of a dark city.

If it's R&C, make sure both parties have ranged weapons and motivation not to get Too Close Too Shoot. Thus, a wolf is a poor choice.

Wizard versus Ranger --> good choice!

Yeah, that's what I thought but if what he wants to test is the likelihood of picking off a Wolf with a bow before it has a chance to eat your head, I'm still game.

There was a Ranger vs. Bear combat that tested this very thing -- you can look it up in the Arena archives.

He's a knight with ranged weapons =). But you do your rooftop duel first =)

4 LPs: Yep!

To give it some context, lets say that we were working together on a jewel heist, stealing a large ruby called the Blood Stone. Once we had it, you took it and ran and now I'm chasing you, trying to get it back.
