Newbie Question

Hi guys, I've just started playing BW, and I'm really enjoying it. I'll probably be adding questions to this thread as I come up with them. I try to search the forums before asking, to reduce redundant threads, but I apologize if I ask an already answered or obvious question.

My first question is regarding repairing armor... how does one gain back lost armor dice due to rolled 1's?

I don't know the answer exactly, but you'll find it under the Mending skill. Use that as a basis for quick repair.

If an actual smith skill is being used, there's no reason why you can't get them all back with one die roll. The amount of successes will determine how long it takes to complete the repair. Maybe for starters, try 1 hour per die being repaired? Extra successes will reduce the time by 10% per success. Base Obstacle for repair should be 1, with modifiers if not using a proper forge or tools or metals.

page 154 of the CB under the Mending skill describes obstacles for mending armor.
