We are starting a BW game, maybe Mel will write up some the of the background stuff later?

Never-the-less, one player decided to bring a Great Wolf into the game, after some discussion I think the wolf is a Perfect fit for our setting and situation.

so during play we ran into a question... can the Big Bad Wolves speak to humans etc?

They can get the Vile Language _Trait_ but there was no 'High Speech' Trait. We were kind of uncertain what to do... does he use up one of his 2 Gen skills points or one of this three remaining Trait points? I can't remember what was decided (either he can talk or he spent a trait)...

The MonBu was curiously silent on the speech thing... I guess he could get Raven Friend and talk to Nobel-Falconer via a Raven... but that seems ummm.. awkward.

A second question I just thought of:

When converting from Old School magic (from the MonBu) to the New School magic how many syllables per action? 1:1, 2:1?

I believe it's 2:1, although the wolf howls are corrected in the errata/update PDF.
