If you post to the wiki, please read this, otherwise... nothing to see here. Move along.

I've spent a few hours this weekend categorizing stuff, deleting non-pages, moving things around, and generally tidying up. Here's some advice / housekeeping rules:

If you create a page, categorize it. If you don't know how to categorize it, ask me by PM on the forum.
When you add a trait, monster, skill or spell, get it peer reviewed here, first. In the wiki article, link to the thread on the boards where it was discussed.
I'm going to start brutally re-categorizing unreviewed entries as "Unreviewed Garbage" soon. Unless it's been reviewed, it's garbage.
There's a new [[Category:Fiction]]. That's where backstories and other such stuff belongs.
If you want to populate the wiki with setting material, create a [[Category:Setting]] sub-category for it, and put everything related in that sub-category (see below).
If you're putting in a lot of AP-type material about your campaign, the campaign page deserves a sub-category (see below).
If you want to leave notes for your co-conspirators on a campaign, use the discussion page that every article has.
There's a new [[Category:Sparks]] for major rulesets that you want to bolt on to BW, or replace other rules with. Like, Art Sorcery or whatever. Articles may be nuked from here as and when they're published (like anything in the wiki).

How To Create A Sub-Category

Figure out what your sub-category is a child of. We'll call that ParentCategory.
Pick a name for your sub-category. Let's call it My Sub-Category.
Navigate to an article that belongs in My Sub-Category.
Edit the article.
At the bottom, where it's already got a category like, say, [[Category:Monsters]], add [[Category:My Sub-Category]]
Preview the article, and check below the submission button that the modified category box says what you think it should.
Save the article.
If you haven't yet added any information about My Sub-Category, the category link will show up with a question mark next to it.
Click the question mark to edit the sub-category.
Add some information about what My Sub-Category is for (describe the setting, the campaign, the host of monsters, whatever)
Add [[Category:ParentCategory]] to the bottom of My Sub-Category (this is the important step, which makes your category a sub-category).
Save the page
Oh, look! When you go to ParentCategory, it's got a new sub-category. How spiffy.

P.S. Yes, I will put some of these rules in the wiki, once there's been an opportunity to discuss them here. Right now, they're just my unreviewed ranting and potentially garbage.
