Help me choose Lifepaths

I'm thinking about a mercenary character right now. A peasant farmer who runs away from life in the fields to become a fighter. I think this concept is closer to a Free Companyman than a Bandit, but Free Companyman requires a soldier lifepath, and none of the Soldiers lead to Outcast. What's your opinion?

Remember: if the story is good enough (and you have GM approval) you can take leads that are not printed... If you can explain why this works and your GM agrees, there's no problem...

Besides, didn't Abzu state that a lot of the Soldier LPs should have a Lead to Outcast? Isn't that why I have a lot of notes in my Soldier Setting?

IIRC, that came up on the first boards (because I remember asking it). Soldier should lead to free companyman or bandit, easily. I think Luke said to add it.

Sounds good what you got there maybe you should have him join a specific mercenary company.
