How does the Emperor's 'Prince lifepath and Crown Prince trait or Child Emperor' requirement get intrepreted? Is it Prince AND one of Crown Prince or Child Emperor or is it Prince and Crown Prince OR (just) Child Emperor?

If the second, I could start with Child Emperor and go right to Retired Emperor at the age of 13...

While I am asking... the trait Kuzunoha’s Child description is off. Does it allow the character to choose any one Trait (except the 3 restrictions) from any Monster?

Prince+Crown Prince trait, or Child Emperor.

Yes, you can be retired by the age of 13.

Antoku was put on the throne when he was 3 or something. If he hadn't died at Dan No Ura, he probably would have been retired in his teens.

Retiring an emperor is a way of getting pesky rivals out of the way and making room for your own heirs.
