In a thread (http://burningwheel.org/forum/showthread.php?p=45915#post45915) about Perception and Wises over the BWR forum, luke said that thw Wises ability to introduce facts into play:

It's really just part of the intent/task system. No different than any other skill:

"I want to make a knife."

"I want a clue."

or

"I want a clue that the trolls belong to the Black Eagle Baron."

Specificity, in this case, raises the obstacles.

Which got me quite impressed. My group has been playing SotC for about a year now, so they will quiclky get the idea. What seems new to me is the way intent is molded to achieve that result (Just as an Asses can 'produce' a wall to throw your opponent into). There is only so few about intent in the FRS, however. So, I was wondering if there are any good articles or posts about using intent to shape the game.

And (this probably goes in another forum but I feel I've been starting too many threads already), can you use a Wise to 'add' a trait to something?
