B0 Authority? Shikigami upkeep mandatory?

Two questions:

1) If you manage to burn up a character with a B0 Authority, the only way to get it to B1 is by gaining an appropriate affiliation?


2) Can you chose to not keep shikigami around past teh end of a session, or do you have to wait for a failed upkeep test?

2) Hm, hadn't thought of that. I suppose you can just let 'em go. I see no reason not to allow that.

The player in question for both of these was asking why he'd make the upkeep test instead of just creating new ones each session. "I have like eight dice to use!"

Then he failed his first attempt to make an oni shikigami...
