Abzu, could you turn off the code on the entry page and some others that resizes the browser window to fit your image? That's REALLY REALLY ANNOYING!

Other than that though, this looks really nice and seems to be running smooth like butter. :)

I also find the resizing terribly annoying.

it is a tad annoying but the site otherwise is good

I wouldn't mind the resizing quite as much, except that it resizes to JUST A LITTLE TOO SMALL so I have a scroller bar. Which kind of defeats the purpose.
But nothing ever really pleases me.

So as not to let this thread descend to the bottom...
PLEASE lets figure out how to not have the opening page resize...
and if you don't fix it soon...
well I'm just gonna pack up my bags and ...
and I'll never play Burning Wheel ever again...
*yeah right... like that was even possible*
well, okay *sigh* so its not that big a deal but it would be nice if someone could figure out whats causing this...
Maybe I will go to the w3schools and learn php today...

I believe the resizing does more harm than good. Here's a from RPG.net, where taepoong strives to promote the game:

Following the link in your sig, I went to the page for Burning Wheel. Then, when it loaded, it shrunk the size of my browser window. I tried it another time to make sure it was loading that site and not something else, and it seems to be the site. Why the fuck does that site shrink the size of my window? Doing things to my browser is the surest way to get me to close a page, and I'm sure lots of people agree with me on this. Is it that it interacts oddly with Mozilla, or is it supposed to?

I believe we are losing players because the index page turns people off.[/url]
abzu sits in his room, quietly wondering why the bitching starts all over again AFTER the "problem" has been fixed.

Sneaky git you are!
Anyway, it's still not entirely fixed. Some of your other pages still resize.

Yes, if only you had a friend who knew web design and was willing to work on your site for food!
