I just wanted to confirm:

Wound penalties (-1D, -2D, etc) also affect your character's Reflexes and hence the number of actions they may script in an exchange.

A related question: if a character is wounded to 1D remaining in his Reflexes, he can script a sprint to get away. As I understand, this is what should happen:

V1 / V2 / V3
sprint / - / -

Speed is reduced by -XD penalty (say to B2)
B2 Speed would normally give him a sprint of 2paces in a volley.
Since he is performing the same movement for the entire exchange, his actual sprint distance is 7paces. This occurs on his first (and only) action - i.e. in volley 1.

Yeah, its ugly but it makes sense that your character gets slower and actions are harder to accomplish (including actions you would not normally roll for like moving).

Its called the DEATH Spiral and I love it!!

It really isn't as clear as it could be since I only recently found out that although reflexes are effected and Will also drops, this does not effect hesitation.

hmmm, does it affect Health?

I think the relevant passage says that the penalties affect stats and attributes. To my mind, that DOESN'T mean that you'd apply them to your stats, re-calculate your attributes, and apply the penalty again. You should just apply it once across the board.
