If you're in my campaign, kindly avoid this thread - it may contain spoilers
I'm crafting a powerful sorceress villain for my PCs that will probably involve multiple encounters over a long span of time before they are finally powerful enough to completely rid the world of her. Her spells will be more manipulative than in-your-face fireball-type spells, and she has a thing for collecting people.
So, the Force of Will spell sounds pretty dead-on. She would probably torture and otherwise weaken her target to get their Will low and then implant her command.
I'd really like to hear some of your experiences with this spell though. I think I get it, but some examples would really help me grasp how it works and plays out long term. (I did search the Forums a bit - there are a few mentions of this spell, but not many).
So...how have you used this spell or had it used against you? What were the circumstances and the command? The words are "permanently embedded" but do they eventually lessen in impact and if so, what might cause this?...
