I'm slightly confused about how sorcerers recover from the Sickness when they lose more than one point of Forte.
Imagine a sorcerer casts a big spell and loses three points of Forte. He has a base recovery time of five hours. He makes three health checks (one for each lost die of Forte) and gets (in order) 1, 0, and 2 successes, giving recovery times of four, five, and three hours.
Are the Forte points recovered in sequence, one after the other, or in parallel?
By 'in parallel' I mean that the recovery time for each point counts from the casting of the spell: the sorcerer would get one point of Forte back after three hours, another an hour later (four hours after casting the spell), and the third one an hour after that (five hours after casting the spell).
If the Forte points come back one after the other, can the player choose the order of recovery? In other words, does the recovery happen at spell + 4, 9, and 12 hours, or could the player choose to have recovery happen at spell + 3, 7, and 12 hours?
Thanks,
Neil.
