Polearm and heavy armor versus light armor, shield and axe... interesting.
If Sarge can keep Baldan at lunging, he should have this competition wrapped up!

FWIW, counter-strike is till allowed when you're outside, right?
The defensive portion, perhaps, but I don't think you'd be able to strike at me if you're completely out of range.
That link you provided to the other die roller doesn't work for me...

I don't fully understand this dice roller. It's asking for some sort of code to keep track of the rolls?

My E1V1 is up.
Yeah, you can enter a code, which it will use to store history. I've used 'BaldanGert'.
I also use the 'Wm4' switch, to make it count successes for use.

I noticed (from observing the history). Could you add comments to what you're rolling, btw?

Yes, I'll do that from now on.

Cool.
What does the audience say? Tobias used 5 actions in exchange 1, but he only has reflexes of 4. Should he forfeit a meaningless action in V2, or his V3 action, which would result in my great strike getting through?

In fact, things are even better for you.
You have +1 ob, from lunging range. So you hit me lightly, if I do nothing.
If I do block, my block's not as good as it seems: I need to reduce the shield dice from you VA anyway. So I'd have less dice to block. (but a good chance, since I only need 1s).
Right, I only have 1s, due to being at lunging. I'll be at VA2-the polearm is VA1 + VA1 for the G. Strike.

Right, so I'd have 2 (split) + 1 (Remaining Shield die) = 3d left for the block attempt, which I'll re-roll completely, I guess (if the audience allows it)?
Edit: btw, the reason I took too many actions, is that most my arena fights have been with Re:5 fighters. It's what feels natural to me.
Edit: Gotta go catch a train in 10 mins. I'll see the audience decision when I'm home (and have eaten, maybe). Sorry about this mess!
Let's just play it out as is, so that you DO get your block, it makes more sense for your second action in V2 to be forfeit.
So, my VA gets through your shield block...now you get an armor roll and if THAT fails, you take a b5 wound.
edit: that's cool. Re-roll your stuff later, and we'll pick things up from there.

That's cool, but if I do get the block, I still have a chance to turn the blow, right?
(4, 2, 6:≥4) = 2s, which becomes 1s after movement ob, so that's just enough to turn the blow.
Edit: lol, just saw your edit on the previous post. The 10 minutes weren't done yet, 6 to go! :) So the blow is blocked, I guess.
Edit: Another question: say I charge on E2V1, how much bonus dice do I get from closing? 4, or 1?

Sounds good to me! On to Exchange 2.

Ok, I'll crank it out and then run to the station. :)
My understanding on Charge is that you'd get +1d from having also closed on E1 V3. You'd also be at +2 ob for closing more than one fighting distance. I could be wrong, though.

Ok, here comes E2
Volley 1:
Maintain
Beat & Bind
Volley 2:
Close
Block & Strike (1d to the block)
Beat & Bind
Volley 3:
Close
Block & Strike (2d on the strike)
Stupid shields! Eventually the law of diminishing returns is going to catch up with me on the positioning, as well.
