I been working on creating a bunch of BW lifepaths for Warhammer FRP which I've being posted in one of the forums. I was wondering if there would be interest in having a pdf compilation when I've finished.

I sould not be a problem - when we finish it we can make it look good 8)
Did You also thought about magic? The one that taints sorcerers with chaos, or maybe we should come up with new emotional attribute for humans - Corruption, coz afair elves and dwarfs could stand up to the forces of chaos, but humans were quite easy.

I'd love to see them all together and formatted :D

For magic we could steal Kevin idea http://www.burningwheel.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=542 , but of course we will came up with our own triggers for testing corruption, taint or whatever you like to call it. And as our attribute advences is should grant corrupted one mutations, phobias, mental diseases, traits and all that other Warhammer werid stuff.

Ulfendar had jotted down some quick ideas about a Chaos taint here:

I was planning to use this as a basis in my game. Perhaps a Touched by Chaos trait and then a Tainted attribute for subsequent corruptions. I don't want to lock anything into the career descriptions (yet) until I've given it more thought.
We might also want to give some thought to insanity rules for the full-on WFRP flavor :)

Yeah, I have to admit, I like the nuts and bolts of Kevin's Corruption Magic a little better.
Perhaps you could integrate the two?
What kind of insanity are you thinking about? I STRONGLY urge against COC model insanity.

Mechanically speaking, WFRP awards insanity points for situations like:
- taking a critical hit
- failing a terror test
- taking a deleriant poison (hallucination and insanity inducing)
- other horrible, disturbing events (DM discretion)
At 6 or more insanity points, a cool test is made. On a sucess, nothing happens (yet). On a failure, a disorder is gained and 6 points are deducted from the insanity point total.
For gameplay, I'm hesitant in adding more book-keeping. I'd rather have the players roleplay out their character's response to situations and then determine if they develop Traits (or insanity Traits) as normal.

Ok we all know that LP's are great and needed - but to complete Warhammer wolrld "setting" we also have to figure out what to do with warpstone!

I don't know much about the supposed effects of warpstone. Isn't is just a McGuffin?
