Anyone used Possessed Trait?

Pitfalls of this? What did you do with the spirit's/daemon's BITs and to what effect?

I've got a player that is aiming his 4LP PC at becoming an exorcist and I was going to suggest this as an interesting path for that. But having a second set of BITs that you have to roll Will to resist sounds kind of...well easily slipping into disrupting in a bad way. I was wondering what kind of Beliefs do you go for? Do you tend to aim them directly opposed to the PC BITs, indirectly, more PITA than anything? Am I right in assuming it'll tend to suck the game/PCs in a whole new direction that'll tend to centre around the Possession?

I used it in my samurai game (pre-blossoms) to good effect. The goal of the game was to dispose of the current demon lord. I gave my possessing spirit a Belief that the character will make a fine replacement. This sort of went along with the character's beliefs about power and such. It works better if the Beliefs are in line with the PC's Beliefs. Temptation is a bitch!

Ah, I see. So it isn't so much the conflict it was that the PC had to resist the activation of the Belief at all. Sort of like putting a turbo boost on Artha-baiting? Yeah, yeah that makes sense. Thanks.

Yeah well I haven't picked up Blossoms yet. :eek: Mostly because it takes a while to see books come in here (it was about 4 months from release before the FLGS had BE in stock) and I haven't been down to the FLGS since well before Christmas. Mail ordering over the border is brutally costly.

But now I just might have to stop by there this week! Damn you and your sly pimping. :D

Ouch, so that's why I hadn't seen it. I had been out of the loop this fall and missed that detail.

Well look at it but it'll probably double my cost or more depending on the shipper you use. UPS is brutal coming across the 49th. Thanks for the tip though, I would have kept checking in the FLGS. They are really good about keeping your other stuff in stock.
