Okay, I have a question regarding learning abstraction facets: if a character knew a spell which contained the facet the person wanted to learn, could that be enough to begin the learning process?

Example: My character knows the spell The Fear. I want him to learn the facet Anima, which The Fear contains. Could my character then make a First Reading roll for Anima?

have you read page 25 of the Abstraction chapter? "Creating Abstractions from Spells?

I have, actually. The way it read, it seemed to apply to using already learned abstractions to modify existing spells, which I get. What I'm wondering is, could I use the spell to learn the abstraction, which I could then use to modify other spells?
